Jonathan Jones is known to all as ‘J.J.’ at Fishguard & Goodwick Rugby Club and across the county as a feisty winger with over 20 years of first-team rugby and now as relatively young chairman who has also given the club great service as a highly-respected coach at junior and youth levels.

His coaches during his playing days would probably describe him as being short and stocky of stature but always very feisty and sometimes over-competitive as he used his real pace to compensate for size.
But off the field he is as pleasant and helpful as he could be, taking a real interest in people and putting that side of his nature to good use in coaching, and also in his role as head-teacher at a local primary school.
